ASEC has learned of a fire that destroyed the girls' dormitory at Bigwa Secondary School in Morogoro, Tanzania, a school ASEC has supported for more than 20 years. We are grateful that everyone is safe. The girls who lived in the dorm have been moved to the school library for temporary shelter. This is an incredibly difficult time for the Bigwa community, especially the students, who lost their belongings, including clothing, sanitary supplies, school materials, and treasured keepsakes. Please keep the Bigwa Secondary School community in your prayers as they begin to recover from this devastating loss.
